34-year-old man caught sleeping under trailer in Culloden

CULLODEN— The following information was provided by reports from the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office:

BURGLARY: A Culloden man awoke Friday morning to find another man sleeping under his trailer using a pillow believed to have been taken from inside home, according to criminal complaints from the Cabell County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies responded to White’s Trailer Park just after 9 a.m. Friday after the homeowner discovered the 34-year-old Poca, West Virginia, man under the trailer and asked him to leave. The suspect was not on scene when police arrived, but is known by the man.

The suspect is believed to have taken a pillow with a “Frozen” pillowcase from inside the trailer, though it is not known whether he was let inside the home by another family member.

No arrests have been made. The following information was provided by reports from the Huntington Police Department:

The Hunting ton Police Department listed 14 new incident reports in the 24-hour period ending at 3 p.m. Monday, according to a printout released by the department. However, the individual police reports were not made available, so these are the only known details:

Assault on a public official, public intoxication, 2:12 a.m. Monday, 700 block of West 16th Street.

Petit larceny, stolen auto, 1 a.m. Sunday, 1800 block of Kite Street.

Disorderly conduct, 6:43 p.m. Sunday, 20th Street/8th Avenue.

Warrant service, 5:34 p.m. Sunday, 1300 block of Jackson Avenue.

Malicious assault, 5 p.m. Sunday, 100 block of Davis Street.

Obstructing an officer, paraphernalia, fugitive from justice, warrant service, 4:45 p.m. Sunday, Highland Street/Oney Avenue.

Breaking and entering, 12:49 p.m. Sunday, 1200 block of 6th Street.

Shoplifting, 10:9 a.m. Sunday, 1400 block of 3rd Avenue.

Domestic assault, 8:30 a.m. Sunday, 1100 block of 28th Street.

Paraphernalia, 5:51 a.m. Sunday, 26th Street/Collis Avenue.

Stolen auto, 2 p.m. Sunday, 300 block of Marcum Terrace.

Destruction of property, tampering with a vehicle, 2:26 a.m. Sunday, 25th Street/4th Avenue.

DUI, 11:42 p.m. Saturday, first block of Fairfax Drive.

The following information was provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail:

David Bailey, 60, was jailed at 8:10 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with being a fugitive from justice. Bond was not set.

Chassity Nycole Cook, 23, was jailed at 8 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with grand larceny and receiving or transferring stolen goods. Bond was $60,000.
