2 killed after train hits car in northern Colorado

PLATTEVILLE, Colo. (AP) — Two people were killed when a freight train struck a car at a rural crossing in northern Colorado.

The Colorado State Patrol says the collision was reported around 6 a.m. Tuesday. No information about the victims has been released.

The crossing when the collision happened as a stop sign but does not have crossing arms.

Platteville police are investigating.
