METAIRIE, La. _ Two of the New Orleans Saints’ top three draft choices play safety, and coaches were getting a first look at Florida’s Chauncey Gardner-Johnson and Rutgers’ Saquan Hampton during rookie minicamp this weekend. While incumbent starting safeties Vonn Bell and Marcus Williams both remain on the club, their new understudies could be pressed into service sooner than later at a position where depth was thin heading into the draft.
