VERNON, British Columbia (AP) _ Eric Woods of Newport Beach, Calif., shot a 2-over-par 75 for a two-stroke victory over Brandt Jobe of Englewood, Colo., in the Canadian Tour's Xerox B.C. Open.
''I hung in there and battled,'' said Woods, who opened with a pair of 66s and finished play Sunday with a 14-under 278 total on the Predator Ridge course. ''When I started making those bogeys I said, 'Get me off of this roller coaster.'''
Jobe, who won last week's Payless Open in Victoria, tied the course record with an 8-under 65.
AUCKLAND, New Zealand (AP) - Two Italian bodybuilders were discharged without penalty today after pleading guilty in Otahuhu District Court to charges of illegally importing steroids.
Paolo Tamarri, 31, and Gianfranco Ditizio, 34, were arrested last week at Auckland Airport after arriving in New Zealand for the world amateur bodybuilding championships.

DECATUR, Ala. (AP) - Tee Burton shot a 4-under-par 68 for a three-stroke victory over Ray Franz and Doug Weaver in the T.C. Jordan Tour's Decatur Daily Classic.
Burton finished play Sunday with a 14-under 274 total on the Point Mallard course. Franz and Weaver closed with 70s.
COLLINGWOOD, Ontario (AP) - Second-seeded Rene Simpson Alter of Toronto beat fourth-seeded Audra Keller of the United States 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (7-3) in the final of the K-Swiss Challenger tournament Sunday.
DECATUR, Ill. (AP) - Margaret Platt shot a 1-under-par 71 for a two-stroke victory over Christa Teno in the Futures Tour's JWA-Anheuser Busch Classic.
Platt finished play Sunday with a 10-under 206 total on the Hickory Point course. Teno closed with a 68.
