TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Sabrina Ionescu scored 22 points and No. 6 Oregon held Arizona scoreless in the fourth quarter to clinch at least a share of its second straight Pac-12 title with an 83-54 victory Friday night.
Oregon (26-3, 15-2) led by eight at halftime and stretched the lead to 17 before outscoring Arizona 19-0 in the fourth. The Ducks shot 64 percent and had a 50-16 advantage in the paint to put themselves in position to win the conference title outright Sunday against No. 21 Arizona State.
Ionescu also had eight assists and five rebounds. Satou Sabally finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Aari McDonald led the Wildcats (17-11, 7-10) with 26 points.
NO. 21 ARIZONA STATE 66, NO. 9 OREGON STATE 54
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Kianna Ibis had 20 points and eight rebounds and No. 21 Arizona State had a 17-0 run to pull away.
Iris Mbulito scored 10 points, Charnea Johnson-Chapman had six points and a season-high 12 rebounds, and Reili Richardson added eight points to help the Sun Devils (19-8, 10-6 Pac-12) end a two-game losing streak and sweep the season series. On Jan. 20, Arizona State handed the Beavers their only home loss of the season.
Mikayla Pivec had 18 points for Oregon State (23-6, 14-4), and Aleah Goodman had 16. The Beavers had won three in a row and four of five.
Arizona State scored the final four points of the first half to take the lead for good, then scored the first 13 points of the second half for a 41-25 lead.
NO. 7 STANFORD 67, WASHINGTON STATE 42
PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — DiJonai Carrington had 19 points, eight rebounds and five assists to help Stanford beat Washington State for its fifth straight victory.
Alanna Smith added 18 points and 11 rebounds for Stanford (24-4, 14-3 Pac-12), and Kiana Williams had 11 points. The Cardinal closed the first quarter with a 20-5 run to take a 23-12 lead.
Ula Motuga scored 10 points for Washington State (9-19, 4-13).
CREIGHTON 71, NO. 13 MARQUETTE 75
OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Audrey Faber scored 24 points and Creighton upset Big East regular-season champion Marquette.
Jaylyn Agnew added 15 points and Temi Carda 11 points for the Bluejays (14-14, 8-9). They have won three straight.
Creighton went on a 20-0 run spanning the first and second quarters to lead 33-13, with Faber scoring nine points.
Natisha Hiedeman Hiedeman finished with 22 points for Marquette (23-6, 14-3). Amani Wilborn added 21 points.
NO. 23 DRAKE 71, SOUTHERN ILLINOIS 64
CARBONDALE, Ill. (AP) — Becca Hittner scored 10 of her 23 points in the fourth quarter and Drake held off Southern Illinois.
Maddy Dean had six of her 19 points in the final 2 1/2minutes, including a deep 3-pointer from the wing that made it 66-59 with 47 seconds left. Sammie Bachrodt added 14 points for the Bulldogs (22-5, 14-1 Missouri Valley).
Makenzie Silvey scored 15 points for the Salukis (13-13, 6-9).
NO. 25 UCLA 76, UTAH 60
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Michaela Onyenwere matched her career high with 29 points and had 13 rebounds for UCLA.
Kennedy Burke added 19 points, Japreece Dean had 11 points and a career-high 10 assists and Lajahna Drummer also scored 11 points for the Bruins (18-11, 11-6), who made their first AP Top 25 appearance of the season this week.
Megan Huff scored 21 points for the Utes (20-8, 9-8).
