Three injured after crash causes car to overturn on I-40 in Raleigh
Authorities are investigating after a two-car crash injured three people Thursday night on Interstate 40 in Raleigh.
Raleigh police said the cars collided at about 9:30 p.m. on I-40 near Gorman Street. The impact of the crash caused at least one of the vehicles to overturn, authorities said.
Two people in the overturned car were taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. One person in the second vehicle was treated for minor injuries.
Authorities have not determined what caused the crash or said if charges will be filed.
