LLS Receives Grant From Health Care Foundation

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) was awarded $10,000 for patient travel assistance from the Northeastern Pennsylvania Health Care Foundation in 2018. LLS will provide 20 blood cancer patients with significant financial need, living in Luzerne, Lackawanna and Wyoming counties, with a one-time grant of $500 assistance for approved expenses which include: ground transportation (gas, tolls, car rental, taxi, bus, train, ambulance services, etc.), air travel, and lodging related expenses.
