Waupun Police Beat 5-20 to 5-23, 2019
Missing adult — Monday at 7:35 p.m., police responded to an adult living facility in the 600 block of South Madison Street for a report of a missing resident. An 18-year old woman was located and was returned to the facility.
Crash — Monday at 9:22 p.m., police responded to the 1700 block of Shaler Drive for a report of a crash involving two semi-trucks. No injuries were reported.
Crash — Monday at 10:31 p.m., police responded to Edgewood Drive at Winter Avenue for a report of a two-vehicle crash. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were towed from the scene. A 36-year-old Waupun man was cited for inattentive driving.
Dog bite — Tuesday at 10:14 a.m., police responded to Waupun Memorial Hospital for a report of a child bitten by a dog that occurred in the 400 block of East Spring Street. The dog was quarantined.
Property damage — Tuesday at 3:26 p.m., police responded to the 400 block of East Spring Street for a report of a juvenile throwing rocks from a school bus, striking a vehicle.
Traffic stop — Thursday at 2:24 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Fox Lake Road at Grace Street. A 20-year-old Kenosha man was cited for operating after suspension.
Crash — Thursday at 5:35 p.m., police responded to the 300 block of Fond du Lac Street for a report of a vehicle striking another vehicle. Police made contact with a 19-year-old Waupun man who was the owner of the parked car. The man stated he didn’t care that there was damage to his vehicle and advised that he didn’t want to talk with police.
