Smeared cupcakes lead to Vegas woman’s disorderly conduct charge

May 22, 2019

An old saying says there’s no use crying over spilled milk, but what about smeared cupcakes?

According to a Lake Havasu City Police, a Las Vegas couple’s plans for a reconciliation in Lake Havasu City didn’t end the way they thought it might with the woman ending up in jail after she allegedly smeared cupcakes on the interior of her significant other’s pickup truck.

Brenda Rae Jenkins, 50, was charged with one count of disorderly conduct, after the last Thursday incident.

An officer who responded to the scene at a local motel spoke with Jenkins and she told him she and the man she was with had been having issues. They came to Havasu “in hopes of fixing things.” She said they had been there two days and she wanted to go home, but he refused and it resulted in an argument.

After becoming upset, she allegedly told the officer she smeared cupcakes on the windshield of the truck they were in.

She was asked about marks on her face and she said they were from either being pushed or falling at an area bar a few nights ago.
