Liberty Oilfield Services: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
DENVER (AP) _ Liberty Oilfield Services Inc. (LBRT) on Tuesday reported second-quarter earnings of $22 million.
The Denver-based company said it had profit of 32 cents per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 27 cents per share.
The provider of hydraulic fracturing services posted revenue of $542.1 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $532.2 million.
Liberty Oilfield Services shares have increased nearly 8% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $13.95, a drop of 26% in the last 12 months.
