TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) _ Albert Bustillos led Colorado past the Milwaukee Brewers 8-4 Sunday in a split-squad game and was picked to pitch for the replacement Rockies on opening day.

Bustillos, who gained his second win of the spring, gave up three earned runs and five hits in five innings with four strikeouts.

With the score tied 3-3 in the sixth, the Rockies scored five runs on Sam Feretti’s RBI single, Jeff Twist’s two-run double, Ben Ortman’s RBI triple and Webster Garrison’s run-scoring double.

Al Mealing hit a two-run homer for Milwaukee and drove in four runs. Jay Gainer homered in the fourth for Colorado.
