WARMINSTER, England (AP) _ A sea lion, driven out of his safari park pool in a fight over two females, was recaptured Monday after swimming 15 miles down two rivers through the English countryside, his keeper said.

Ian Small said Goldie escaped Sunday from his home at Longleat House, a stately home with a safari park near Warminster in western England.

A rival male, Big Boy, hounded Goldie out of the pool in a fight over two Laddie and Ossie, the two females, he said.

Goldie jumped into the adjoining River Frome. Twenty-four hours later, he crawled out of the connecting River Avon near a pub at Avoncliff. Park staff took him home in a horse trailer.
