4 men arrested in fatal shooting of 2 in Virginia
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) — Police in Virginia have arrested four men in connection with the shooting deaths of two men earlier this month.
Virginia Beach police said in a release Wednesday that investigators identified 28-year-old Michael Allen Cain and 22-year-old Matthew Dillon Jyrkinen as the deceased victims in the Jan. 8 shooting. A woman who was also shot was hospitalized with life-threatening wounds. Her current condition has not been reported.
Police say several people were inside a residence near Naval Air Station Oceana when an argument broke out and shots were subsequently fired.
The four men charged — 22-year-old Dale Edward Gauvin, 35-year-old Steven Larry Gray, 29-year-old Malkim Shamarr Hart and 33-year-old Justin Travis Rigby — each face several charges, including robbery and aggravated malicious wounding.
It’s unclear if they have lawyers.
