AccuWeather: 3-6 Inches Of Snow On The Way; More Possible

November 14, 2018

As of 10 a.m. Wednesday, AccuWeather is forecasting 3-6 inches of snow for Scranton and surrounding valley cities.

The State College based weather forecasting company says there is a 50% chance of 3 to 6 inches of snow in Scranton.

They’re predicting only a 2% chance of accumulations totaling 6 to 10 inches and only a 1% chance of 10 inches or more of snow.

That could change as the system gets closer to NEPA.

Later in the day tomorrow the snow will change over to ice, potentially making the afternoon commute a mess. 1 to 2 more inches of snow are predicted for Thursday night
