Watercrest at Kingwood to host holiday fundraiser for St. Jude’s Hospital

Watercrest at Kingwood, a senior living community, is raffling 10 one of a kind Christmas trees designed by local businesses to benefit St. Jude’s Hospital.

Residents are welcome to come to Watercrest on Dec. 12 from 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. and purchase raffle tickets on their favorite Christmas trees.

The trees are already on display for people to stop by and purchase raffle tickets.One ticket costs $20 and three for $50.

There will be live music and holiday treats and refreshments as people purchase raffle tickets.

Tree recipients may choose to take their tree home or donate the tree to a family in need for the holiday season.

“This is a special time of year when we all pause to reflect on what’s really important,” said Debra Burton, executive director of Watercrest at Kingwood. “At Watercrest at Kingwood, we understand this is a special time for our community and want to ensure everyone enjoys the holidays. We are always seeking opportunities to present our residents and special guests with opportunities to give back to the greater community, share experiences and enjoy time with one another. Through our Festival of Trees event, we hope to inspire others to find ways to give back this holiday season.”
