TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Williams Partners L.P. (WPZ) on Wednesday reported second-quarter profit of $426 million.
The Tulsa, Oklahoma-based company said it had net income of 44 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 40 cents per share.
The energy infrastructure company posted revenue of $2.09 billion in the period.
Williams Partners shares have climbed 17 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $45.38, an increase of 12 percent in the last 12 months.
