HUNTINGTON - Several Huntington officials and guests joined Citizens Deposit Bank officials for a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony Monday at the bank’s new branch at 2600 5th Ave.
“We only go into markets that we see an opportunity,” Citizens Deposit Bank President and CEO Mike Minner said in opening comments. “We now stretch from here along to Cincinnati, on both sides of the river, so it creates a nice corridor. We are also affiliated with Premier Bank as well, which takes us all the way to Washington, D.C., so we are looking forward growing here in Huntington with the support of such a great community.”
Huntington Mayor Steve Williams welcomed the bank to Huntington.
“We are always thrilled with investments in our community, but there is something very special when it’s local investment,” said Huntington Mayor Steve Williams. “Huntington is continuing to transform, and we are so pleased Citizens Deposit Bank is part of the growth occurring in our community.”
Citizens Deposit Bank Executive Vice President Jodi Rowe-Collins invited everyone in the community to visit the new branch bank.
“We’re delighted to invite Huntington and surrounding area residents to visit our new branch, meet our experienced staff and learn more about our hometown approach to community banking,” she said.
Citizens Deposit Bank is a $424 million, Kentucky-chartered bank with 14 locations in Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia. The bank is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Premier Financial Bancorp, Inc., a $1.5 billion, Huntington-based bank holding company.
