Barry 76, Mars Hill 75
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ Sophomore Cliff Dubois scored a career high 30 points, including 23 in the first half, to lead Barry to a 76-75 win over Mars Hill of North Carolina on Saturday in the consolation game of the Southern Indiana Tournament.
The Bucs (5-2) started the first half with Dubois hitting five three pointers.
Although Barry led comfortably in the second half, Mars Hill (3-3) came back with James Barber, who scored 11 of his 15 points in the half, and tied the game at 65 with 4:26 left.
The teams traded leads until Dubois hit a jumper with 1:12 left and added free throws with 5.8 seconds left.
Barber led Mars Hill with 17 points. Medina scored 14 points and Kirk Mendez added 11 for Barry.
