IRVING, Texas (AP) _ Carolina quarterback Rodney Peete didn’t start the second half of Sunday’s game at Dallas because of a headache.
Chris Weinke, who attempted just one pass in the first five games, took over for Peete, who was walking along the sideline at the start of the second half.
Peete was 9-of-15 for 84 yards, including a 25-yard touchdown pass to Brad Hoover, in the first half.
Carolina safety Jarrod Cooper left in the first half with a sprained left knee, and linebacker Dan Morgan was out with a strained left groin.
