Norfolk Catholic & Lutheran High Northeast football remain ranked in state-wide polls
The Omaha World Herald & Lincoln Journal Star have updated their high school football rankings.
Norfolk Catholic remains first in the Lincoln Journal Star and second in the Omaha World Herald in Class ‘C-2’. The 6-1 Knights beat Battle Creek last Friday at home 21-7. Their only loss is to Class ‘C-1’ top ranked Pierce. Norfolk Catholic is outscoring their foes on average 40.3-17.9. They return to action on Friday night when they visit 2-5 Stanton at 7:00. Lutheran High Northeast remains eighth in the Lincoln Journal Star and slip from eighth to ninth in the Omaha World Herald in Class ‘D-1’. The 5-1 Eagles had no problem with Laurel/Concord/Coleridge last Friday 62-42. Their lone loss is to Wakefield. LHNE is outscoring their opponents on average 64.8-37.3. They are back in action on Friday when they host 1-5 Madison at 7:00.
