Orchids and Onions: Sunday, May 12, 2019

May 12, 2019

Another beautiful day in Havasu...

Orchids to owner James and his fantastic crew at Autoworks. He always takes care of my auto repair needs, and goes above and beyond the repair. A truly honest man and the best auto repair shop in Lake Havasu. Thank you for being such a great business owner. You Rock! Susan

Onions to the fat jerk. I’m retiring. You can’t try to threaten my job anymore. Keep reading the paper. You’ll be seeing lots of letters in the future!

Orchids to Joe and Louise at the Alignment Doctor for donating Easter baskets to the Women of the Moose. They were made up for Havasu children. Thank you again, Donna

Onions to the membership/events coordinator at the golf club. It wouldn’t hurt you to smile and at least pretend you like your job. Stop trying to think you know everything about everyone in Havasu because you don’t. Get your facts straight before you start assuming and then confronting.

Orchids to Havasu hospital nurses and staff on the 3rd and 2nd floor ICU for the wonderful care and compassion that they gave Kathy. I cannot thank you enough for the treatment that you provided. You saved her life and I owe you all my sincere thanks. Special thanks to the surgeon that saved her. Bob

Onions to trailer-trash and junkies terrorizing old residents, taking over entire neighborhood with their curbside dealings, blatant littering of empty lots and street, tantalizing area with door-to-door sales, drive-in service from unregistered motorhome across drive. Disgusting intrusion!

Orchids to AARO A/C. The best in town, competent, reliable and through. Mike is the man. D.R.

Onions to the roadwork that was started on Southwind and never finished. Looks and rides horrible, and it is not good for our cars and our city.
