WVC FIELD HOCKEY ROUNDUP: Dallas Rallies For Win

At Dallas, Hannah Yanovich scored one goal and assisted two others, leading a come-from-behind, 3-1 win for the Mountaineers at home against Wallenpaupack in WVC field hockey Tuesday.

Grace Young and Maddie Pertl scored a goal apiece for Dallas.

Madison Kier, the goalkeeper for Wallenpaupack, made seven saves. Mia Watson scored for the Buckhorns.

Berwick 2, Nanticoke Area 1

At Berwick, Kaylee Houser and Peyton Lipsey each scored goals and lifted the Bulldogs to a close win.

Sandwiched between the Berwick goals was a game-tying score by Nanticoke Area’s Katie King.

Goalkeepers Jackie Nevel (Berwick) and Jillian Maute (Nanticoke Area) made a combined 13 saves.
