Sheriff ups reward in unsolved, year-old Sun Valley homicide

October 10, 2018

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Authorities in northern Nevada are offering a $2,500 reward and reaching out to Las Vegas residents as they continue their year-old investigation of an unsolved homicide north of Reno.

Secret Witness announced the reward Tuesday on top of $1,000 already put up by the father of 34-year-old Michael Partridge Jr., who died from a gunshot wound at a residence in Sun Valley on Sept. 29, 2017.

Detectives say Partridge lived in Las Vegas before moving to northern Nevada and still has connections to that area.

Investigators believe there are people living in the Las Vegas area who may be able to offer potential leads.

Anyone with information should contact the Washoe County sheriff at 775-328-332 or Secret Witness at 775-322-4900 or www.secretwitness.com.
