Plymouth Kiwanis Donate To Library

The Plymouth Kiwanis Club recently presented its annual donation to the Plymouth Public Library. Suzanne Youngblood, the executive director of the Plymouth Public Library, accepted the donation and provided an overview of current library activity. The library conducts a children’s reading program which provides story-hour services to local children in the library and as an outreach program to youngsters in other children’s facilities outside the library itself. In addition, the library now serves as the host to a debate club organized by local lawyers and a book club composed of local female runners. Plans are now underway to develop a fundraising project that would provide funding to replace the library computers. First row, from left, are David Bonawits, the Plymouth Kiwanis Club representative to the Plymouth Public Library board of directors and Ray Motyka, Plymouth Kiwanis treasurer. Second row: Kiwanis President Richard Schall presenting the donation to Suzanne Youngblood and Plymouth Kiwanis Secretary John Gavenonis.
