Separate shootings wound 2 males on Cleveland’s East Side

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Two men were wounded Tuesday night in separate shootings, both on the East Side, police say.

A 41-year-old man was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center in serious condition after being shot multiple times on the 2200 block of East 33rd Street, between Carnegie and Central avenues east of downtown.

A second male was wounded in the leg in a shooting on the 500 block of East 128th Street, which is in the Forest Hills neighborhood east of Eddy Road.

The second victim was taken to University Hospitals in unknown condition.

Police did not release additional details on the shootings.
