JUNEAU _ A human rights commission plans to meet on a personnel matter. The meeting comes after the governor sought an investigation into the actions of a commission employee who pointed out on social media a “Black Rifles Matter” sticker on the back of a truck that she said she thought was racist. FAIRBANKS, Alaska _ Two Alaska high schools hope to end their difficulties fielding football teams by merging their programs, according to school officials. SENT: 260 words.


_ BODY FOUND _ Anchorage police reopened a busy midtown intersection Monday morning after investigating a suspicious death.

_ KUSKOKWIM RIVER-MISSING ATV RIDERS _ Two all-terrain vehicles carrying five people crashed through ice on the Kuskokwim River and two people are missing.

_ ANCHORAGE FATAL CRASH _ A man died in a one-car rollover crash in south Anchorage. Police say a driver in a sport utility vehicle Sunday morning was heading west on O’Malley Road and failed to negotiate the left-hand curve where the road turns into Minnesota Drive.
