Wyeth, down $11.94 at $37.30

A government study found long-term use of hormone replacement therapy increases the risk of breast cancer, strokes and heart attacks. Wyeth makes Prempro and other estrogen supplements used in hormone therapy.

US Airways Group Inc., up 23 cents at $3.52

The airline has reached a tentative agreement with its pilots union to reduce wages and benefits as part of an effort to improve the airline’s financial health.

Elan Corp., down 40 cents at $1.80

The software company reduced its 2002 revenue forecast, citing slow business conditions.
