Beaver Dam Police Beat: Sept. 5, 2018
Disorderly conduct — Police received an anonymous report of a verbal argument going on upstairs in the 1800 block of North Center Street at 10:49 a.m. on Wednesday. An officer made contact with a man and a woman and the parties separated.
Retail theft — Police received a report of an employee theft at Shopko, 822 Park Ave., at 12:57 p.m., Wednesday. The employee was issued a citation and the Horicon Police Department came to pick her up on a warrant.
Neighbor dispute — A man reported ongoing issues with his neighbors having loud parties and junked vehicles in the 300 block of Grove Street at 1:54 p.m. Wednesday.
Neighbor dispute — A man reported his male neighbor put a leaf blower in his face on Tuesday as well as other ongoing issues at 4:37 p.m. on Wednesday. The neighbor said the caller came at him with a lawnmower in an aggressive manner and he may have put the leaf blower in the caller’s face by accident. An officer counseled them.
Harassment — A man told police at 7:56 p.m. a woman is saying untrue things about him and his wife to another person. The suspect was advised that this was the last warning for harassment.
Family trouble — A woman reported a man was throwing things around a room and grabbed her wrists in the 100 block of LaCrosse Street at 9:34 p.m. on Wednesday. The woman was taken to jail for domestic disorderly conduct.
Disorderly conduct — An employee at a care center in the 400 block of Roedl Court reported that a male resident was swearing and trying to run people over with his wheelchair at 11:34 p.m. on Wednesday. The man was calm upon officer arrival and stayed in his room the rest of the night.
