Rams’ QB Chris Miller Expected To Announce Retirement
ST. LOUIS (AP) _ Quarterback Chris Miller, who has been plagued by concussions, has failed a physical and been released by the St. Louis Rams.
Miller and the Rams planned a Noon EST conference call today, and he was expected to announce his retirement.
Miller, 30, suffered a season-ending concussion Dec. 3 against the New York Jets. It was his third concussion of the season and his fifth in 14 months.
Miller was a Pro Bowl quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons in 1991 before signing with the Rams as an unrestricted free agent in 1994.
