INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 54-47) won 4-0 over Rochester (Twins). DH Christopher Bostick (.294) knocked in two runs, and C Ryan Lavarnway (.276) was 2 for 3 with a home run. RHP Clay Holmes (7-3, 3.36) threw seven scoreless innings, allowing four hits and striking out five to earn the win.

Next: Friday doubleheader vs. Buffalo (Blue Jays), 6:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 54-46) won 8-7 over Akron (Indians). CF Bryan Reynolds (.269) was 2 for 5 with a home run and three RBIs. 1B Will Craig (.251) also homered. C Christian Kelley (.239) was 2 for 4 with two RBIs. RHP Yeudy Garcia (2-4, 4.71) earned the win after allowing one run on two hits in one inning of relief. RHP Austin Coley (1-0, 4.58) allowed three runs on eight hits in 4 2/3 innings.

Next: Friday vs. Binghamton (Mets), 7 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 47-51) had its game against Florida (Braves) postponed.

WEST VIRGINIA (Low-A, 50-48) lost twice at Kannapolis (White Sox). The Power lost 3-2 in Game 1. SS Oneil Cruz (.292) had two doubles and an RBI, and 3B Jesse Medrano (.216) added an RBI. RHP Hunter Stratton (4-4, 5.05) allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits with three strikeouts in the six-inning loss. In a 2-1 loss in Game 2, SS Oneil Cruz (.292) doubled, and LHP Ike Schlabach (6-3, 4.19) allowed two runs on four hits in 5 1/3 innings to take the loss.

Next: Friday vs. Asheville (Rockies), 7:05 p.m.

WEST VIRGINIA (Short Season-A, 15-24) lost 3-2 to Aberdeen (Orioles). 2B Raul Siri (.277) had an RBI, and first-round draft pick, CF Travis Swaggerty (.292) had a single and two walks. RHP Alex Manasa (2-5, 4.57) allowed one run on five hits in six innings pitched.

Independent

WASHINGTON (Frontier League, 33-30) lost 4-1 to Joliet. 3B Ryan Cox (.400) was 2 for 4, and CF James Harris (.316) doubled and walked. 2B Carter McEachern (.275) had the Wild Things’ lone RBI.
