FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) _ Angie Gorton scored 20 points as No. 16 Colorado State routed La Salle 95-47 on Saturday night in the championship game of the Rocky Mountain Invitational.
Becky Hammon added 18 points and Katie Cronin had 16 for Colorado State (8-0), which jumped out to a 14-1 lead.
Shannon McDade led La Salle (3-1) with 17 points.
Colorado State led 43-21 at halftime and continued to build the lead behind 56 percent shooting. La Salle committed 22 turnovers and shot just 33 percent (15 of 45) from the field.
In the consolation game, Wisconsin-Milwaukee had six players score in double figures in an 87-67 win over Furman.
