Nevada judge arrested on suspicion of domestic battery
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Court records show police in Las Vegas have arrested a state judge on suspicion of domestic battery.
Las Vegas Municipal Court records show Clark County District Court Judge Stefany Miley was arrested around 11 p.m. Saturday. Details about the case were not immediately available.
Clark County jail records do not show any booking report and Las Vegas Metropolitan police did not respond to a message seeking details of the arrest.
Miley’s attorney David Chesnoff said in an emailed statement that Miley “intends on vigorously defending against these mere allegations.”
Court spokeswoman Mary Ann Price said the court had no comment.
Miley is scheduled to appear before a judge on Jan. 22.
