Centura Health Gets Health Nod from Heart Association

Centura Health, which operates Longmont United Hospital and Avista Adventist Hospital in Louisville, has been awarded a gold level recognition on the Workplace Health Achievement Index.

The American Heart Association has recognized Centura Health for working toward having a healthy workplace.

Centura Health, which operates Longmont United Hospital and Avista Adventist Hospital in Louisville, was awarded a gold level recognition on the Workplace Health Achievement Index, according to a news release.

The American Heart Association created the index with a collaborative of about 40 chief executive officers of large companies who are committed to applying evidence-based approaches to improve their employees’ overall health.

More than 1,000 companies participated in the index in 2018.
