Fraud suspects indicted for variety of crimes

KINGMAN — Three Phoenix suspects were indicted earlier this month on fraud, forgery and other felony charges.

A Mohave County grand jury indicted Joshua Brent Harris, 37, for fraudulent schemes and artifices, assisting in a criminal syndicate, taking the identity of another, two counts of forgery, criminal possession of a forgery device and two drug charges.

Tanya Renee Nielson, 47, and Elbony Charrise Leyshon, 39, were indicted for fraudulent schemes and artifices, assisting in a criminal syndicate, criminal possession of a forgery device and two drug charges.

The suspects are expected to be arraigned Wednesday at the county jail. Their cases will then be heard by Superior Court Judge Rick Lambert. Leyshon is being held on a $7,500 bond. Harris is being held on a $15,000 bond.

Harris, Leyshon and Nielson were arrested Dec. 28 about 76 miles south of Interstate 40 on Highway 93. The suspects allegedly possessed forged driver licenses, according to court documents.
