Cops release suspects’ photo in safe theft at Milford pot dispensary

November 20, 2018

MILFORD - Police have released a photo showing two suspects in the theft of a safe at a Milford medical marijuana dispensary.

On Sunday, during the overnight hours, Milford police responded to a burglary alarm at Southern CT Wellness Center, 318 New Haven Ave.

As a result of the investigation Milford Police Department is asking for help identifying the pictured suspects who are accused of breaking into the business and taking the cash safe, containing a sum of money.

Earlier this week, Milford police said the safe contained a “substantial” amount of cash.

Southern CT Wellness & Healing opened in 2016. It’s run by four licensed pharmacists and the product is consumed in the home, not at the dispensary.

According to an earlier Connecticut Post story, there are security cameras everywhere and there’s a hefty bank vault where the product and cash are kept.

It is one of two medical marijuana dispensaries in the city. The other one, Arrow Alternative Care No. 2, Inc., is 255 West River St.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Milford Police Department, Detective Noss at (203) 783-4765, or snoss@ci.milford.ct.us. Reference case #6054-18.
