MOSCOW (AP) — Trinidad and Tobago sprinter Kelly-Ann Baptiste has withdrawn from the 100 meters at the world championships.

The 2011 bronze medalist had been scheduled to compete in the 100, 200 and 4x100 relay, but her name was missing from the 100 heats scheduled for Sunday.

Trinidad and Tobago team manager Dexter Voisin was quoted in the Trinidad Express newspaper as saying that “she has voluntarily withdrawn from the competition and is heading back to her base.”
