ATHENS, Greece (AP) _ Two bombs exploded tonight in court buildings in Athens' main judicial compound, causing damage but no injuries, police said.

The blasts were the latest in a string of bombings around Athens. There was no immediate claim of responsibility in the courthouse explosions, but the others were linked to small leftist groups.

The first device _ a time bomb _ exploded in a second-story rest room in a building housing civil and criminal courtrooms.

Authorities evacuated the two-story building following a warning call to local media about 35 minutes before the explosion, which occurred shortly after 7 p.m.

The second time bomb exploded less than a hour later in a neighboring courthouse. There was no warning of the second bombing, police said.

Since last year, offices and cars belonging to politicians, diplomats and journalists have been hit by bombings and arson attacks. Small leftists groups claimed responsibility for most of the attacks. The deadly terrorist group November 17 said it carried out a rocket attack against a Citibank branch in April.
