Sportscaster Dick Enroth Dies
WAYZATA, Minn. (AP) _ Dick Enroth, a broadcaster of Minneapolis Lakers games before the pro basketball team left the city, is dead at age 80.
The retired Twin Cities sportscaster died of cancer Tuesday at a nursing home in suburban Minneapolis.
Enroth covered the University of Minnesota basketball and football teams in the 1940s and ’50s for WLOL Radio in the Twin Cities and the football team for KSTP Radio. He later went to work for WCCO.
