The Aiken Hounds Foundation will hold a Fox Hunting Camp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at The Riding School, 2319 Chukker Creek Road. The camp is free, and will feature lessons, games a field trip to the Aiken Hounds Kennel and a lunch presentation on land conservation and the role of parents in fox hunting. The third annual Pineapple Festival will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Memorial Baptist Church, 3100 Vaucluse Road. The festival will feature face painting, arts and crafts, carnival games, a raffle, a bake sale, cake walk and a flea market with clothing, home decor, furniture, appliances, antiques, collectibles and more. All proceeds will benefit local charities and MBC Missions, and building and grounds funds.

The Peaches n’ Cream Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today on Newberry Street in downtown Aiken. The event will feature food, live music and vendors.

The Living History Park, 218 W. Spring Grove Ave., North Augusta, will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. Several buildings, including the Mercantile, will be open. For more information, visit colonialtimes.us.

The Aiken Civic Ballet will hold auditions for “The Nutcracker” at 1 p.m. today in room 125 of the Etherredge Center on the Campus of USC Aiken, 471 University Parkway. Auditions are open to ages 6 to adult. The audition fee is $20.

An End of Summer Bash will be held today at the Houndslake Country Club, 901 Houndslake Drive. Festivities start at the pool from noon to 2 p.m. with a cookout featuring hamburgers and hot dogs. A Smoke and Stroke Golf Tournament will be held for $50 per player, and includes nine holes of golf, two cigars, three mixed drinks on the course and a barbecue buffet after the tournament.
