SUV plows into Danbury firehouse, 2 vehicles
DANBURY — A city firehouse suffered some structural damage after a vehicle collided with the building Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened around 3:45 p.m., according to fire dispatch reports in Danbury.
A sport utility vehicle left the roadway at the intersection of Germantown Road, Sand Pit Road and Great Plain Road, officials said. The SUV crashed into the Germantown Company 10 fire station building.
After hitting the building, the SUV crashed into two other vehicles in the Blackman’s Service Center lot.
There was no immediate word on injuries of anyone involved.
