The annual list highlights women executives in the IT channel representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. “These seven executives redefine business excellence and constantly look to find new and better ways for Ingram Micro and our channel partners to be indispensable to our customers and leaders in the industry by every measure,” said Paul Bay, executive vice president and group president of the Americas for Ingram Micro. “It’s great to see these talented and inspiring leaders honored by CRN and celebrated for their ongoing contributions to the channel, as well as their advocacy for the career development and enablement of women in tech.”

CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.

In 2017, these seven Ingram Micro leaders individually spearheaded several successful partner-focused, business-building objectives and initiatives. These included expanding Ingram Micro’s cloud and financial service offerings, enhancing the company’s go-to-market resources regionally and globally, and building on the success of its partner communities and business enablement tools, including sales, training and professional services.

Additionally, each executive is engaged in Ingram Micro’s mission to advance women’s leadership roles within and around the company. To date Ingram Micro’s efforts have and continue to include campus-wide Women Leadership forums and mentoring programs, hosting women-focused panels and workshops at company events, sponsoring industry events including Women of the Channel and spearheading cultural awareness campaigns and career path development training for employees.

“This accomplished group of leaders is steadily guiding the IT channel into a prosperous new era of services-led business models and deep, strategic partnerships,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “CRN’s 2018 Women of the Channel list honors executives who are driving channel progress through a number of achievements—exemplary partner programs, innovative product development and marketing, effective team-building, visionary leadership and accelerated sales growth—as well as advocacy for the next generation of women channel executives.”
