ST. LOUIS (AP) _ St. Louis Rams All-Pro offensive tackle Orlando Pace tore his left calf muscle in practice and might miss Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Pace was hurt Wednesday, and tests later that night revealed the damage. He wore a cast Thursday but wasn’t counting himself out of the game.
``We’re going to see how it feels and see how it heals,″ Pace said. ``Hopefully, we’ll see tomorrow.″
Pace, the first overall pick of the 1997 draft, has made 75 consecutive starts for the defending NFC champions, who are off to an 0-3 start.
