Authorities not ready to name suspect in death of woman

January 3, 2018

BRIGHTON, Colo. (AP) — Authorities say they aren’t ready to name anyone as a suspect in the death of a 19-year-old woman whose body was found north of Denver last week.

Nineteen-year-old Natalie Bollinger of Broomfield was reported missing Thursday and was found dead in a wooded area near a street in unincorporated Adams County the following day.

Adams County Sheriff Michael McIntosh also said Wednesday that he doesn’t think there is a threat to anyone in the community but wouldn’t elaborate on what the investigation has uncovered so far.

Bollinger had obtained a permanent restraining order against a man in mid-December. McIntosh said investigators have spoken with him.

Bollinger’s family issued a statement thanking investigators and asking people who have any information about what happened to contact the sheriff’s office.
