William Paterson 30, Pace 25
PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. (AP) _ John Milmoe set a school single-game rushing record of 275 yards and scored three touchdowns, leading William Paterson to a 30-25 football victory over Pace Saturday.
Milmoe scored on a 53-yard run in the first period, a 4-yard run in the third quarter, and another 4-yard run in the fourth period.
He carried 33 times for the Pioneers, who evened their record at 1-1.
Kevin Enterline, quarterback for the Setters, who were playing their season opener, completed 24 of 57 passes for 307 yards and three touchdowns.
Rob Fehrenbach caught two of Enterline’s TD passes in the fourth quarter for 28 and 33 yards.
Rich Johnson tied a Pace single-game record with 13 catches and broke the school reception yardage mark with 168.
