WAYNE — The West Virginia University Extension Service in Wayne has welcomed Evan Wilson as the new Wayne and Cabell agriculture natural resource agent.

Wilson joins the department with a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and Extension Education. He also holds a master’s degree in Agriculture, Natural Resource, and Design from West Virginia University.

His love for West Virginia’s land started when he grew up on great-grandfather’s farm in Mason County, according to the WVU Extension Service. There, he held an active membership in the 4-H and FFA during his middle and high school years.
