LEWISVILLE, Texas (AP) _ The body of a 6-year-old boy was found buried in mud early Tuesday with a puncture wound to the neck, and his brother and sister confessed to the killing, authorities said.

Jackson Carr was found in a wooded area. His 10-year-old brother and 15-year-old sister were in custody, Sgt. Richard Douglas said in Tuesday’s online editions of The Dallas Morning News.

``It’s a homicide,″ Douglas said. ``They just confessed to the death and burying the child. We do not have a motive at this time.″

The boy’s body was found about 100 feet from his family’s home.

He was reported missing Monday evening after his 10-year-old brother told their parents he could not find him after a game of hide-and-seek.

The brother said he held Jackson down during the incident, Douglas said.

Lewisville is a suburb north of Dallas.
