Candidate Meet and Greet being held at Domus

September 24, 2018

STAMFORD — In honor of Sept. 25 being National Voter Registration Day, Domus Kids is holding a candidate meet and greet at their headquarters.

The event was made possible through the Fairfield County’s Community Foundation which awarded 18 grants to civic-minded organizations aiming to energize and educate the community about voting.

The meet and greet will be held at the gym at 83 Lockwood Avenue from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be free food and drink, as well as chance to meet candidates to share opinions and ask questions. Visitors can also find out where they vote and register to vote themselves.

The grants are part of a new civic engagement grants program for FCCF called “Get Out The Vote” which is a nonpartisan initiative designed to fund efforts to increase voter registration and information access for all Fairfield County residents, particularly those historically disenfranchised.
