Scranton Police Continuing Investigation Into Shots Fired In South Side

SCRANTON — Police are investigating a report of gunshots fired in the city’s South Side on Friday night.

Police responded to the 600 block of East Elm Street about 11:20 p.m. Friday night, where several people reported hearing five shots, police Lt. Marty Crofton said. Officers found shell casings on the scene and a vehicle there did have a window shot out, though no injuries were reported, Crofton said.
