Crusaders gearing up for postseason

Concordia Lutheran (32-1, 9-0) beat host Kelly Catholic 89-34 in TAPPS 6A District 4 play, Jan. 29, and beat visiting Awty International 89-42 in district play, Feb. 1.

Montavious Murphy finished with 22 points against Awty, RJ Reene had 15 points and Colin Howard added 10. Reene also scored 31 points against Kelly and Murphy added 19 points.

The boys team visits St. Thomas in district play, Feb. 5, visits St. John XXIII in district play, Feb. 8, and closes the district season against The Village, Feb. 12.

The Lady Crusaders (4-3) lost to visiting St. Agnus 48-35 in district play, Jan. 29.

The girls team closes the district season against St. Pius, Feb. 5, and faces Aggieland Sports Alliance, Feb. 7.

In soccer, the boys team beat The Village 2-1 after winning 4-1 in penalty kicks, Jan. 30.

Tomball

The Lady Cougars (16-8, 10-5) beat host New Caney 42-28 in District 20-5A play, Jan 29, and beat visiting Porter 56-36 in district play, Feb. 1.

Huntsville is first in the 20-5A standings followed by Kingwood Park. Tomball and Willis are next, followed by Montgomery.

The girls team closes the district season at Willis, Feb. 5.

The Cougars (16-13, 8-5) beat visiting New Caney 70-26 in district play, Jan 29, and beat host Porter 73-50 in district play, Feb. 1.

The top four in the boys district consists of Huntsville, Willis, Tomball and Montgomery, followed by Lake Creek.

The boys team hosts Willis in district play, Feb. 5, hosts Huntsville in district play, Feb. 8, and closes the district season at Montgomery, Feb. 12.

In soccer in district play, the boys team lost to Kingwood Park 6-1, Jan. 29, and faced off against Grand Oak in non-district play Feb. 1. The girls team lost to Kingwood Park 2-0, Jan. 29, and entered a bye, Feb. 1.

Tomball Memorial

The Lady Wildcats (18-16, 7-8) lost to host Bridgeland 47-45 in District 14-6A play, Jan. 29, and lost to visiting Cy Lakes 39-34 in district play, Feb. 1.

Cy Ranch is first in the 14-6A standings followed by Langham Creek, Cy Springs and Cy Lakes, with Tomball Memorial sitting in fifth.

The girls team closes the district season at Cy Park, Feb. 5

The Wildcats (9-19, 1-12) beat Bridgeland 81-76 in district play, Jan. 29, and lost to host Cy Lakes 89-63 in district play, Feb. 1.

Cy Springs is first in the boys standings followed by Cy Ranch, Bryan and Langham Creek.

The boys team hosts Cy Park in district play, Feb. 5, visits Cy Springs in district play, Feb. 8, and closes the district season at Cy Ranch, Feb. 12.

In soccer in district play, the boys team lost to Langham Creek 1-0, Jan. 29, and lost to Bridgeland 1-0, Feb. 1. The girls team beat Langham Creek 4-0, Jan. 29, and tied Bridgeland 0-0, Feb. 1.

Rosehill Christian

The Lady Eagles (14-6, 6-1) beat visiting Brazos Christian 52-24 in TAPPS 3A District 6 play, Jan. 29, and beat visiting Providence Classical 39-19 in district play, Jan. 25.

The girls team visits Clear Lake Grace Christian in district play, Feb. 5, and closes the regular season at home against Magnolia Legacy Prep, Feb. 8.

Rosehill Christian (16-10, 5-2) lost to visiting Brazos Christian 57-42 in district play, Jan. 29.

The boys team visits Clear Lake Grace Christian in district play, Feb. 5, and closes the regular season at home against Magnolia Legacy Prep, Feb. 8.
