Cold snap heading to Havasu
The National Weather Service reports that strong winds of 30-40 mph are expected to hit Lake Havasu City and Bullhead City starting Thursday and coming down on Friday night. Winds could pick back up Sunday morning and last through Monday. Temperatures on Friday in Lake Havasu will range from a low of 56 degrees and a high of 75 degrees. Saturday, temperatures will range from 50 to 76 degrees and Sunday will range from 53 to 71 degrees. Areas around Kingman might expect to reach the first freeze watch of the season on Friday morning. High winds can cause dangerous driving and boating conditions and freezing temperatures can cause damage to sensitive vegetation.
